Storms Hit Southern Ontario

Ontario endures severe storms, tornado warnings
 
"As much as 10 centimetres (3.9 inches) of rain fell in some parts of
the Greater Toronto Area. Storm sewers backed up, leaving motorists
stranded in flooded streets during the evening rush hour.Powerful storms
moved across southern Ontario Friday afternoon, ripping limbs from trees
and downing power lines. 
 
A rare tornado warning was issued in Toronto and other centres as a twister
reportedly touched down In Guelph and Orangeville, trees reportedly knocked
down power lines, leaving 10,000 residents without power. Earlier in the day,
buildings were reportedly damaged and cars overturned in the Kitchener area."
