Winter storm pounds Atlantic Canada, New York

From CTV:
"A severe snowstorm has paralyzed parts of the Atlantic provinces and much of the American Northeast, dumping more than 60 centimetres of snow in some areas. The storm has left tens of thousands of people without power, and shut down air travel on both sides of the border. Flights leaving Halifax International Airport for the American Northeast were cancelled as powerful winds blew up to 20 centimetres of snow into Nova Scotia.
Linda Gale, trying to get to Jamaica for her daughter’s wedding, hoped her flight would not be affected.
"She wants to get married on Feb. 14, which is Valentine’s Day," Gale told CTV Atlantic.
New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island are expected to be hit with similar amounts, with the snow continuing on Monday.
Weather warnings have been issued for all three Maritime provinces. The storm is expected to reach Newfoundland’s west coast on Monday."
Our hearts go out to those being affected by this storm. Please, be careful and stay safe!
